Adding Spanning Backup to Your Google Apps Domain

As a business owner or IT administrator, you know how hard it is to get all of the people at your company to back up their data. Unless the process is completely automatic, they simply won’t all do it.

We know too, so we’ve made it possible for you to automatically make daily backups of every user’s data in your Google Apps domain without their having to do anything. Here’s how, in three easy steps:

1. View the Spanning Backup listing in the Google Apps Marketplace at http://goo.gl/5ecK
2. Click “Add it now” to install Spanning Backup into your Google Apps
3. Assign trial seats for up to 100 of your domain users using the seat picker.

*Paid accounts are not limited in how many seats can be assigned.

That’s it!

That will start a 14-day trial that covers all the users in your domain that were assigned a trial seat. Their Gmail, calendars, contacts, and docs will be backed up daily starting the next morning. Plus, on-demand backup and restore will be available to your domain users through Google ‘s universal navigation:
